Taking place in Central London this pivotal strategy forum will feature keynote talks alongside interactive case studies showcasing examples of best practice for research collaboration and utilisation of funding.

CONFIRMED SPEAKER: Riaz Bhunnoo, Head of the Global Food Security Programme, Global Food Security – The UK’s Cross-government programme on Food Security Research will deliver a morning keynote, 'Looking to the Future – Striving to Safeguard Global Food Security' which will cover:

  • Examining the food security challenge and emerging threats
  • The potential impact of climate change and how the food system can evolve
  • Meeting the Paris Agreement and the sustainable development goals
  • Exploring trade-offs in the food system and wins for health and the environment
  • How new technology can be harnessed to transform food production and consumption
  • Strategic priorities following the £12 million awarded by the GFS programme for research on food system resilience
